Applications Epoxy Resin Curing Agent

MHHPA is a heat-curing anhydride curing agent widely used in the electrical and electronics industries. It features a low melting point, long pot life, high heat resistance, and excellent high-temperature electrical properties. It is also used for impregnation of electrical equipment coils, casting of electrical components, and sealing of semiconductors, such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs), ignition circuits, special-purpose capacitors, transformers, and motors.

Epoxy Composites

MHHPA is increasingly used in high-performance composites. Its application in combination with fiber-reinforced materials in lamination, centrifugal casting, and pultrusion is gaining increasing attention. Applications include pressure gas cylinders, pressure piping, fishing rods, and golf clubs.

Adhesives

Cycloaliphatic epoxy adhesives made with MHHPA have a refractive index like that of optical glass. After curing, they exhibit low internal stress, high bond strength, stable color, and excellent aging resistance, making them suitable for bonding large-area optical components.
