|---|
Introduction & Specs
| Introduction | SD-2001 is a difunctional secondary amine derived from D-2000. It has a lower reactivity and is specifically designed for applications requiring slow cure speeds. It offers longer open-time and lower reaction exotherm. At room temperature, it is a colorless to pale yellow, transparent liquid with moderate viscosity and low vapor pressure. SD-2001 has a molecular weight of approximately 2000 and a density of 0.98 at room temperature.

| Storage | D-2001 polyetheramine may be stored under air at ambient temperatures for extended periods. A nitrogen blanket is suggested for all storage, however, to reduce the effect of accidental exposure to high temperatures and to reduce the absorption of atmospheric moisture and carbon dioxide. Discoloration can occur at temperatures in excess of 60℃. | ||
| Shelf Life | 12 months from production date. | ||
