ü  Contains no toxic ingredients such as the eight major heavy metals, azo, or phthalates, complying with strict environmental regulations in the US and EU. Insoluble in water, soluble in toluene, ethyl acetate, acetone, turpentine, mineral spirits, and other solvents. Non-corrosive, odorless, non-flammable, and non-explosive. Widely applicable to spray coatings, high-density elastomers, microporous elastomers, and cast elastomer systems. While having technical properties very similar to those of organotin catalysts, it is much less toxic and can partially replace them. Its catalytic activity is lower than that of organotin catalysts.
