Introduction | PC136 is a low viscosity curing agent primarily for epoxy coating systems. In use it has slow reactivity and has good compatibility with fillers. For the cured formulation it provides excellent appearance (due to flow and levelling), low color, excellent color stability and adhesion. |
Advantage | Ø In aromatic systems, an extended pot life of about 15 secs is achieved.
Ø In aliphatic systems, apart from longer pot life and UV stability, the final properties of the coating are attained much faster (within about 4 hours). Ø In the event of exposure to heat, polyurea coatings made from MIPDA PC136 will withstand temperatures of up to 90 °C thanks to their higher heat distortion temperature (HDT). |
