| Introduction | MPEG is a polyether monomer for monofunctional active diluent, with high activity and good hue. The acrylate produced later can be used to make light-curing coatings, UV inks and water-based coatings. It is the raw material for synthesizing polyurethane elastomers, coatings and adhesives. It reacts with isocyanates to make chemical grouting materials, which are widely used in tunnels and dams for anti-seepage and defoaming. It is soluble in organic solvents such as aromatic hydrocarbons and ethanol.
It is widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Products with different molecular weight fractions can be selected to change the viscosity, hygroscopicity and organizational structure of the products. |
