|
XDI is an aliphatic diisocyanate with an aromatic nucleus, gives some unique properties. The polyurethanes derived from XDI have better resistance to yellowing than those from aromatic diisocyanates, such as tolylene diisocyanate (TDI) and diphenyl methane diisocyanate (MDI). XDI shows higher reactivity than other aliphatic diisocyanates such as hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI).
XDI and its derivatives are widely used as raw materials for synthesis of the resins for various CASE raw materials: PUD and UV synthesis; synthetic leather synthesis; outdoor sealant. |
| Advantages | Better yellowing resist (Than TDI, MDI)
Much faster reactivity(Than HDI, IPDI) High reflective index |
