| Benefits | T-15 is a new type of delayed catalyst developed based on T12, T9 and organic bismuth. It is a multi-purpose catalyst with advantages as below,
l It has relatively high hydrolysis resistance and can extend the storage period of polyurethane foam system. l It has delayed performance, which is stronger than T16 at room temperature, can provide the system with longer operability time, good fluidity at room temperature, and does not affect the activity of the system, the later effect and product performance. l At the same time, the required activation temperature is higher than T16, which is suitable for high-temperature post-curing operation, and the thermal activity temperature exceeds 60 degrees. l The catalytic activity is higher than T12, and it can replace T12 in the on-site casting process, which can reduce the amount of amine catalyst and obtain a longer milky time. l It is widely used as a catalyst in polyurethane elastomers, soft foams, semi-rigid foams, microporous elastomers, silicone and polyurethane coatings, adhesives, and rigid foams. |
| Usage | When used as a polyurethane catalyst, the addition amount is generally 0.05%-0.5% of the polyol component. It is not recommended to add it to the isocyanate component, as it is prone to gelation risks. Avoid leaving it open when using it. |
