| Applications | 1,6-HDGE is an aliphatic difunctional reactive diluent for epoxy resins based on di-glycidyl ether of 1,6-hexanediol. It is used primarily to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resins. Additionally, It provides improved toughness while retaining the chemical resistance and mechanical properties of the formulation.
1,6-HDGE is compatible with epoxy resins in all concentrations and can be cured with a wide variety of epoxy hardeners. 1,6-HDGEis recommend for use in producing structural adhesives, coatings, composites: filament winding & lamination, electronic encapsulation and for civil engineering applications. |
