Applications nBGE is a glycidyl type active epoxy diluent made by ring-opening etherification and ring-closing oxidation of butanol and epichlorohydrin. It contains ether bonds and epoxy groups in the molecule. It has a good effect in diluting epoxy resins. It participates in curing during curing to form a uniform system. It is a commonly used active diluent for epoxy resins. nBGE has a toughening effect and can improve the properties of some resins after curing, such as impact strength, etc. It can also be used as a stabilizer and plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride.
