| Description | MOPA is a clear, colorless, liquid, that is completely soluble in water, alcohols, ethers, acetone, etc.
It is mainly used in the anti-corrosion of petroleum, and as a detergent. MOPA compares favorably to Morpholine in water-insensitive waxes. It is also used in the manufacture of disperse blue 60 and other dyes. When prepared as an amine soap, MOPA makes a good dispersion and emulsion of resins and waxes such as those used in water-based paint, as well as floor and textile finishes. |
